Marcel Vogel Quartz Crystal Healing Tool Wands
Quartz Crystal wands were created by the legendary IBM scientist and crystal healer Marcel Vogel. They are rare and powerful instruments.
Marcel Vogel sought to use the power of science and of the lapidary arts to perfect crystalline forms of nature in order to maximize their potential for receiving, amplifying and transmitting Universal Life Force Energy charged with the intent to heal and with the force of love. Vogel cut the crystals to harmonize with the natural quartz structure to enhance the energetic properties of the wand for healing purposes.
Universal Life Force Energy (also called prana or chi) enters the female end of the wand, spirals down the body of the wand to the male end, and is amplifed every time it encounters a facet.
Paul Jenson, wrote a publication called “Introduction to Vogel Healing wands,” stated the “large end of the crystal is cut with an interior angel of 51 degrees, 51 minutes, and 51 seconds. And the “super-charged energy stream coalesces at the male end of the wand, and is emitted as a highly coherent laser-like beam for use in meditation, vibration for healing and communications.”
There are wands that claim they were produced with the symmetry and study of Marcel Vogel. Most of those wands are imitations and not backed up by the study of the wands by Paul Jenson.
The wands vary in sizes and colors with various numbers of facets of 4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13, 21, 24, and 33. Example below:
The Legacy of Marcel Vogel
Marcel Joseph Vogel (1917–1991), a visionary scientist and spiritual innovator, was born in San Francisco. His journey was shaped by a profound blend of science and spirituality, beginning with a life-altering event at the age of six when he was declared clinically dead from double lobular pneumonia—only to recover and embark on a quest to understand his purpose. Fascinated by the natural world, young Marcel observed fireflies and pondered the mysteries of their luminescence. By age 12, he experienced a powerful inner calling: “You will be a phosphor chemist. You will do pioneering work in luminescence. You will write a book and create your own business.”
Scientific Breakthroughs
Marcel’s early passion for phosphor chemistry led him to remarkable accomplishments even as a teenager. He taught himself the intricacies of luminescence, translated German scientific texts, and synthesized phosphors before finishing high school. By 1943, he co-authored the groundbreaking book The Luminescence of Liquids and Solids and Their Practical Application with Dr. Peter Pringsheim.
He went on to establish Vogel Luminescence Corp., a trailblazing company that produced fluorescent paints for outdoor advertising and patented innovations like black light kits for cancer detection, rodent contamination analysis, and milk inspection.
A Career at IBM
In 1957, Marcel joined IBM as a full-time research scientist, marking the beginning of an illustrious career. At IBM, he became one of the most prolific inventors in the Data Products Division, earning numerous patents in magnetic recording media, liquid crystals, and rare earth phosphors. His work contributed to the red color in televisions and revolutionized technology, enabling the digital displays found in watches and radios. He also developed photo-relays for analog-to-digital converters and advanced techniques in Dark Field Microscopy, among many other achievements.
Exploring Consciousness and Nature
During the 1970s, Marcel’s curiosity turned toward the intersection of consciousness and biology. His experiments with plant communication replicated the Backster effect, revealing that plants respond to human thoughts more strongly than to physical harm. His findings suggested plants could act as "batteries," storing and mirroring human emotions and intentions.
This exploration led Marcel to study quartz crystals, culminating in the creation of his famous faceted "Vogel-cut" crystals. He discovered that these precisely cut crystals could amplify and store energy, with applications ranging from enhancing the structure of water to improving the flavor of wine. His pioneering work demonstrated how crystals could serve as tools for healing and transformation, bridging the gap between science and spirituality.
